Practitioners


      Kelley Kolinsky Toms, LAc, OTR/L is a National Board Certified and State Licensed Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Nationally Registered and State Licensed Occupational Therapist. As a Diplomate of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and National Certification Board for Occupational Therapy (NCBOT), Kelley has met nationally recognized standards of board competence, safety and continuing education for both of these disciplines.
      Kelley graduated Summa Cum Laude from East Carolina University(1998) with a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy. As a licensed OTR/L for the past 15 years, she practiced in a variety of clinical settings such as: All Children’s Hospital(St. Petersburg,FL), Hillsborough County School System(Tampa, FL), Children’s Choice for Therapy(Tampa, FL), and her own private practice. Her training specialization is in multiple modalities that include: Sensory Integration, Handwriting Without Tears, Neuro-net, Therapeutic Listening, CranioSacral Therapy and the Alert (How Does Your Engine Run) Program.
      Kelley broadened her scope of practice when she graduated Summa Cum Laude(2007) from the East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida. Kelley also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Health Sciences, and a Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine. She provides professional services in the field of Oriental Medicine within the specialties of: Acupuncture, Herbal and Tui Na therapies, Japanese non-needle Sho Ni Shin treatment for pediatrics, Neurological Integration (NIS), a proprietary treatment to rebalance and eliminate allergies and sensitivities (TRAS), Dr. Tan’s Balance Method, External QI Healing, Internal Alchemy Qi Gong, and Auricular Therapy. She also has 15 years of experience as an Upledger trained CranioSacral, Lymphatic Drainage and Visceral Therapy practitioner. Kelley has studied at a myriad of seminars in Traditional Chinese Medicine, nutrition, hormonal and fertility balancing and CAM/Holistic Medicine, and she is committed to continuing education in her professional interests.
      Neurological Integration (NIS) has become Kelley’s primary area of specialty. Based on neuroscience and neurophysiological principles, NIS was developed by Dr. Alan Philips of New Zealand. Seven years ago, Kelley began studying with Dr. Phillips at the Module A and B introductory seminars and received her first master-level training at the Masters Seminar 2007 in New Zealand. In 2010 the Masters Seminar was held in San Francisco, CA where Kelley attended and was featured as a presenter.
